CEO, Founder and Managing Principal
Deo Mwano (DAY-oh MUH-wanno) is a nationally recognized speaker, program designer and transformational cultural change maker whose work focuses on helping organizations maximize their positive impact. Mwano is the founder of Deo Mwano Consultancy LLC (DMC), which helps businesses, organizations, and educational institutions build authentic relationships and understanding among all stakeholders. DMC’s process brings everyone to the table to co-design solutions through shared power, resulting in new vulnerability, honesty and trust. The strategy yields genuine interactions and diverse, inclusive and equitable results. Deo earned his BA in International Relations and History and holds an MBA in Strategic Leadership. He has worked for the federal government, non-profits, universities and tech startups. He was recognized as an emerging leader in 2016 when he was included in 40 Under 40 in New Hampshire, he’s a graduate of Leadership New Hampshire and in 2021 he was named one of the top 200 leaders in NH by New Hampshire Business Review. Deo is a gifted storyteller and performer. His family’s story was featured on Dancing With the Stars, ABC nationally syndicated TV show and Deo and his brothers performed live on the show.
Program/Project Manager
Milli is the quarterback of Deo Mwano Consultancy, helping to keep everything in line and ensuring the timely deliverables of all the programs and projects. Milli works with internal DMC teams and external partners to ensure alignment across all parties and milestones are reached with the right allocated resources. Milli is very involved in her community with coaching soccer and working with immigrant students from all over the world. She has many talents in music, dance and even has her own line of beauty products. She has worked at several nonprofits in community programming for school-age children. Milli holds an MS in IT Project Management and a BA in Biology from St. John’s University.
Learning Model and OrganizationTransformation Consultant
Andrea brings more than a decade of experience in leadership, adult learning theory, training, coaching and mentoring, and organizational culture development to the DMC team. She has a background in behavioral health, higher education, and customer service operations. The common thread through her career is the belief in the power of relationships to drive positive outcomes, and the importance of championing underserved communities.
Andrea serves as a collaborator in supporting DMC’s partners to identify root problems and implement strategies to improve engagement, company culture and team performance. She assists in data collection and analysis through employee interviews, shadows, and surveys. Her work also includes conducting research for best practices and potential tools in executive coaching and motivation, as well as developing and delivering training content, tools, and resources for corporate partners. She loves performing and is also an incredible softball coach with many years of experience coaching high school teams and travel teams.
Solution Architect
David is a creative problem solver, skilled at finding solutions to complex issues and effectively communicating technical information to others in understandable ways. He uses a wide variety of tools, including building web applications and analyzing data, to enhance understanding and improve quality and efficiency. David has over a decade of experience teaching high school mathematics and has an Master's of Art in Teaching (MAT) in Mathematics from Rivier University. He has coached high school sports, provided academic support to students in Manchester at an after school program, and served in the Peace Corps in the city of Quito, Ecuador as an education volunteer. He enjoys ice fishing, playing music (drums and guitar), and spending time with his wife and cat.
Digital Media Manager
Chris Ramirez oversees all digital media management at Deo Mwano Consultancy (DMC). He collaborates with various teams within DMC on video and audio projects, both for internal use and with partners. Chris ensures that DMC's work translates effectively into video and audio formats, enhancing engagement and clarity about DMC's mission and partnerships, leading to increased understanding and positive action. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College. Outside of work, Chris is a husband and father of two, enjoying activities such as watching movies with his family and participating in sports together. He is also a fan of anime and enjoys doing photography in his spare time.
Marketing Manager
Ashley is the Marketing Manager at Deo Mwano Consultancy (DMC). She leads the effort to build DMC's community through its vision and mission of empowering organizations to maximize their positive impact in workforce success, learning success, and community transformation through inclusive and equitable strategies and practices. With extensive experience in marketing, Ashley has helped numerous brands achieve their goals by fostering authentic connections. At DMC, Ashley is responsible for showcasing the impact of DMC's work with various partners, ensuring that current and potential partners understand the transformative initiatives supporting diverse communities in achieving their positive outcomes. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her dogs and listening to folk and country music. She holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
Lead Designer
Rakesh manages all aspects of DMC visuals, from research and ideation, to creative conceptualization and design. He is a talented graphic designer with many years of experience working in a variety of industries including IT, hospitality, education, healthcare, workforce, music and arts. Rakesh’s curiosity in the backstory of every project allows him to bring difficult concepts to life by making them tangible and accessible through his designs. Rakesh believes that design tells a story that is louder than words, a story which helps to connect with the customers, users, and buyers emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Social Media & Content Strategist
Liam manages DMC’s online brand through video content. He is focused on highlighting and optimizing the skills, knowledge, & experience of the DMC team to grow brand awareness, value, and trust. Liam focuses on telling stories about DMC’s unique strengths and authentic approach.
Liam is the Founder of Bellerose Digital, a digital media agency that helps business leaders, industry experts, and brands. Liam has also built his own multi-platform influencer brand that has received millions of views across Youtube, TikTok and other platforms.
