Privacy policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
Thank you for visiting deomwano.com. Deo Mwano Consultancy ("DMC", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at deomwano.com (the "Website"), how we use and protect it, and when we share it. Please read it carefully.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you send an inquiry through a form on the Website, we receive what you enter: your name, organization, role, email address, the type of support you are interested in, your desired timing and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Technical information. Like any website, the servers that deliver the Website receive basic technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. This is used to deliver the Website, keep it secure and fix problems.
How the Website works
- Hosting. The Website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes the technical information described above on our behalf in order to serve pages and protect the Website from attacks.
- Spam protection. Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is being sent by a person rather than an automated program. To do this it looks at information from your browser and device. Turnstile does not show advertising or track you across other websites. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.
- Delivering your inquiry. When you send a form, your message is delivered to our inbox by Cloudflare Email Service. We do not keep a separate copy of form submissions on the Website.
- Cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the Website and its forms secure.
- Fonts. The Website's fonts are hosted on our own site, so loading a page does not send your information to a font provider.
- Embedded media. Some pages include videos or podcast players from services such as YouTube or Buzzsprout. When you play them, those services may collect information under their own privacy policies.
How we use your information
- To respond to you: to answer your inquiry, discuss your organization's needs and follow up on our conversation.
- To provide and improve our services: to operate and maintain the Website and the services we offer.
- To keep the Website secure: to prevent spam, abuse and attacks.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal information. The Website is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. However, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
When we share your information
- With your consent: we may share your information with third parties if you have asked us to or agreed to it.
- With service providers: such as Cloudflare, which hosts the Website, protects our forms and delivers form messages on our behalf.
- For legal reasons: if required by law or in response to a legal process.
- For business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new owner.
Third-party links
The Website contains links to other websites, such as our social media pages and podcast. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their privacy policies before giving them any personal information.
Your choices
- Access and correction: you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it.
- Opting out: if we send you updates by email, you can ask us to stop at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with the date of the last update.
